The Blue Borage flower was used to promote bravery on the jousting field and continues to be used to bestow courage.

Blue Borage is a trauma-aware coaching and leadership training practice, supporting individuals, communities and organisations to move beyond reactive patterns into greater clarity, agency, and care.

This includes work in areas of intrafamilial harm, complex family systems, and long-term recovery.

Our work brings together lived experience, leadership learning, and facilitated dialogue to support more thoughtful responses to complexity, particularly in areas where silence, uncertainty, or entrenched patterns have shaped how people relate, respond, and lead.

Inspired by the Blue Borage flower, a traditional symbol of courage, our work is grounded in the belief that courage lives in everyday moments of reflection, connection, and considered action.

Courageous Conversations and Shared Learning

Our facilitated Conversation Cafés bring people together in small, international gatherings to explore lived experience, leadership, and cultural change. Some conversations focus on specific themes. Others centre shared learning and reflection across different perspectives, including lived experience, family dynamics and professional practice.

Acknowledging Country

We acknowledge the Gubbi Gubbi people, Traditional Custodians of the land on which we live, work, and create. We honour Elders past and present and recognise that sovereignty was never ceded. Always was, always will be Aboriginal land.
